AHR Metals has field installation and rigging experience in a wide array of industries ranging from pulp and paper, steel mills, chemical plants, food manufacturing, foundries to food service establishments.
Having worked for years in paper and steel mills, manning “shut down jobs” on short notice is our specialty. In fact it is not unusual for us to man a job 1400 miles away in just 24 hours. We are able to work under and meet these job requirements because engineering, design, detail, drawing, fabrication and installation are all accomplished utilizing our own personnel. Our theory is that if we can manage and support the overall project then we can schedule and control the outcome with a greater degree of success.
Unlike other contractors we at AHR Metals strive to maintain a stable and high quality work force. In an effort to maintain a high quality work force we encourage employees to further their skills through attending schools, seminars and conferences in order to keep them current to changing technologies and techniques. AHR Metals also employs a full time Safety Coordinator that is responsible for coordinating and insuring that all our shop and field personnel are well versed in both our safety rules and regulations as well as those of OSHA and our particular customer programs through field and shop training. We believe that education, training and safety are the basis for employee retention and overall customer satisfaction.
