The benefit of these ovens is to reduce cycle times necessary to process the foam parts. In some instances we have been able to reduce the curing times from 14 to 24 hours down to 2 to 4 hours. These systems can be as simple as a single manually operated oven to fully automatic conveyorized systems. The systems can be supplied with parts pick-up stations as well as dunking tanks for automatically applying the ceramic coating used in lost foam applications. Heat sources for the ovens can be natural or lp gas, steam, fuel oil or in some instances reclaimed from other plant operations.
